Bonded T1 Service

If your business depends on e-commerce, online data storage, CRM applications, corporate intranets/extranets or other demanding applications, then LaunchNet bonded T1 delivers the heavy lifting these mission-critical applications demand. LaunchNet harnesses the power of multiple full T1 lines, bonding them together into one affordable, seamless connection to deliver up to 6.0 Mbps of symmetrical speed, eliminating the wasted bandwidth and expense of moving to a fractional DS3 connection and offering significant cost savings over using separate T1s.

Service Level Agreements

At LaunchNet, we stand behind our promise of uncompromising quality by providing service level agreements (SLAs) on our business-class services. Our SLAs mean that you can focus on your business, not your Internet connection.

  • Fast installation time—If LaunchNet does not install your order within 30 calendar days of placing your order, you are eligible for a credit equal to 50% of your first month's service fees.
  • Service availability—We target monthly service availability of 99.99%. You will be eligible for a credit equal to one day of service for every hour of downtime beyond our target.
  • Time to repair—In the event of a service outage, we will restore your service within 4 hours. If we do not, you will be eligible for a credit equal to 10% of your monthly service fees.
  • Network delivery—Each month, LaunchNet targets to deliver successfully 99.9% of all data packets sent from your location. If we miss this target in a given calendar month, you will be eligible for a credit of up to 10% of your monthly service fee.
  • Network delay—LaunchNet targets to deliver all messages sent from your location to a LaunchNet-designated test point in a monthly average of 110 milliseconds for the round trip. You are eligible for a credit of up to 10% of your monthly service fees if we do not meet this monthly target.

How does bonded T1 work?
LaunchNet uses multi-link point-to-point protocol (MLPPP) to combine two T1s to deliver a coherent 3 Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth. There is no need to implement load balancing over two separate T1s.

How many T1s are bonded?
Presently, two T1s are bonded.

What T1s can be bonded?
T1 circuits must be from the same POP going to the same customer location.

What is the bonded Business T1 coverage area?
Bonded T1 has the same nationwide coverage area as Business T1. You can enter your telephone number and address to see if your location pre-qualifies for service.

Is the service level agreement (SLA) different for bonded Business T1?
No. Bonded Business T1 is backed by the same industry-leading SLAs as a single T1.

Do I order two T1s?
No. When you place your order, select 'Business T1 3.0M'.

How do I know which speed is right for me?
The LaunchNet Sales Consultants will help you determine exactly which speed is best for your needs. Some of the things you should take into account are: applications you are running, number of employees using the connection.

LaunchNet-approved CPE is required for bonded Business T1 and the options will be presented at the time the order is placed.
